MERITON INTRODUCES MAS GROUP, CONNECTING FIVE HVAC BUSINESSES IN ILLINOIS
Combined equipment and service capabilities will provide more coordinated support across Illinois.
IRVING, Texas — Nov. 3, 2026 — Meriton, a national alliance of commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representative companies, today introduced MAS Group, the parent company of Midwest Applied Solutions, Mechanical Equipment, G.V. Zintel Associates, Brucker and MAS Tech Services. David Kahl will serve as president of MAS Group.
The businesses are already collaborating on projects across Illinois. MAS Group will help coordinate their equipment and service capabilities to support customers and manufacturing partners. The long-term vision is to operate under one brand in Illinois.

As we take this next step, we remain committed to the relationships we’ve built and the dependable service our customers and manufacturing partners count on.”
Each business will continue operating under its existing name, with its existing team, leadership and manufacturer and customer relationships. Updated logos and materials will include “an MAS Group Company” alongside the individual company names to show the connection.
For consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and building owners, MAS Group is working toward an approach in which salespeople specializing in applied equipment, hydronics and air distribution support each customer account. G.V. Zintel Associates will lead industrial applications, and MAS Tech Services will provide service expertise.
MAS Group will phase in this customer support model over time. Customers will continue working with their current sales contacts for each product line.
