New appointments align Meriton’s structure with high-growth markets and reinforce its leadership across North America’s HVAC and building solutions industry
DALLAS – November 6, 2025 — Meriton, a growing national network of leading commercial HVAC manufacturer representatives, Meriton today announced several key leadership appointments designed to accelerate growth, strengthen partner relationships, and advance the company’s strategic focus across North America.
Meriton has achieved exceptional growth over the past five years, with bookings and backlog expanding eight-fold and revenue and profit increasing more than six-fold since 2020. This success has been driven by the company’s deep expertise, strong client partnerships and ability to combine organic expansion with strategic acquisitions in high-potential markets.

As part of this organizational evolution:
• David Fernandez has been appointed Executive Vice President, North American Sales,overseeing Meriton’s manufacturers’ representative businesses. Fernandez will partner with rep firm leaders to drive continued organic growth and work closely with the integration team to onboard newly acquired firms. He previously served as founder and President of Integrated Cooling Solutions (ICS), leading Meriton’s Florida operations since 2009. As part of this transition, Brady Spann will take over the role of President of ICS.
• Jake Buckner has been named Executive Vice President, Strategic Growth, leading Meriton’s Data Center, Services, Parts, and HVAC RNTL businesses. Buckner will focus on markets where demand is accelerating fastest, helping drive continued rapid growth. His career includes leadership roles across several Meriton companies, manufacturer sales organizations, and Texas AirSystems in Dallas-Fort Worth.
• Al Amerson has been appointed Executive Vice President, Manufacturer Relationships,responsible for strengthening and expanding Meriton’s partnerships with leading OEMs. He will collaborate with Fernandez, Buckner, and operating company Presidents to ensure alignment and growth across the network. Amerson will also continue to lead Texas AirSystems operations in Dallas-Fort Worth, North Texas and West Texas.
